Technical crystallization of pharmaceutical proteins

Technical crystallization of therapeutical proteins shall be established as a new efficient process for downstream processing. This project is a collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry.

Possible tasks for diploma/bachelor/master thesis and internships are:

• Screening for suitable crystallization conditions
• Evaluation of innovative additives
• Implementation of crystallizers (mL- and L-scale)
• Scale-up and optimization of crystallization processes
